No. Lead-acid chargers are not compatible with LiFePO4 batteries. Using a lead-acid charger will damage the battery and will void the warranty. The complete kit includes a 48V 15A lithium charger that is matched to the LiFePO4 charging profile. Use only the included charger or a third-party charger that can be programmed to the exact voltage and current specifications listed in the Tech Specs tab.

Using the included 48V 15A charger, a full charge from empty takes approximately 7 hours. Partial charges are safe and do not negatively affect battery capacity or lifespan. LiFePO4 chemistry does not require full charge cycles.

Epoch recommends professional installation by a qualified golf cart technician. The kit includes step-by-step instructions, cart-specific mounting brackets, a pre-assembled wiring harness, a replacement charge receptacle, and an on/off switch for the dashboard.
