Yes. Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries operate at a slightly higher nominal voltage than the lead-acid packs they replace. The 38.4V nominal voltage of this battery is the standard and expected operating voltage for 36V LiFePO4 golf cart batteries. It is fully compatible with 36V Club Car DS, EZGO TXT, and Yamaha G-series electric carts without any motor or controller modifications.

Customers typically see 15 to 35 miles per charge. Range is affected by terrain, total payload weight, tire size, driving speed, cart condition, and whether the cart has stock or upgraded components. A flat neighborhood course will yield more range than hilly terrain with a full passenger load. The battery stores 4,032Wh of energy and provides 252 minutes of reserve capacity at a 25A draw.

Yes. All three bundles include the A-1236 DC-DC 12V Converter (30V-45V input) as a standard component. This allows your existing 12V accessories such as lights, horn, USB ports, radio, and GPS to run properly off the lithium system without any risk of damage. You do not need to purchase a converter separately.

The standard lithium battery should not be charged when battery temperature is below 32°F. The charging freeze protection built into the BMS will prevent charging in those conditions. The heated battery option adds internal heating capability that allows the battery to be charged in below-freezing conditions. If your cart is stored or regularly charged in an unheated garage, shed, or barn, the heated option is worth considering. If your cart stays in a climate-controlled space year-round, the standard version is sufficient.

Yes. This battery supports parallel connection of up to two units. Running two batteries in parallel will approximately double your usable range. Series connection is not supported and is not recommended. Contact your dealer or Eco Battery's support team before setting up a parallel configuration if you have questions about wiring.

Yes. The GEN3 battery's discharge specifications 250A continuous, 600A peak for 5 seconds are designed to support stock 36V carts and carts running aftermarket speed controllers and motors from brands such as Alltrax, Navitas, and Teekon. Eco Battery's proprietary BMS is engineered to handle the higher amperage demands of upgraded systems without nuisance shutdowns.

The A-1055 15A CAN Charger is included in every bundle. Eco Battery recommends using only this charger or one specified for this system. The CAN communication cable must be connected for charging to function correctly. The battery must be powered on using the illuminated power button before it will accept a charge. Do not attempt to charge using a standard lead-acid charger  doing so can damage the battery and void the warranty.

Many customers with basic mechanical experience complete the installation themselves. Each bundle includes everything matched to your cart: the GEN3 battery, a 15A CAN charger, DC-DC 12V converter, LCD state-of-charge meter, cart-specific charge port, mounting hardware, and a remote button battery wake-up kit. Because the components are pre-selected for your platform, there is no need to source individual parts separately.

The battery can be discharged in temperatures from -20°F to 140°F and charged in temperatures from 32°F to 130°F. Charging below 32°F is blocked by the BMS to protect the cells the heated battery option removes this limitation for cold-climate users. For storage, keeping the battery in a moderate-temperature environment helps preserve long-term cell health.

Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries require no ongoing maintenance. There is no water to add, no electrolyte to monitor, no acid spills to clean, and no terminal corrosion from battery acid. The BMS manages cell balancing automatically. After installation, normal operation requires only regular charging and keeping the battery terminals clean and tight to the M8 female terminals at the specified 6 ft/lbs torque.
