• Equalization: Disabled/Off (not applicable for LiFePO4 chemistry)

For Victron Energy Systems Setup:

Physical Connection Procedure:

• Connect waterproof bung to master battery blue communication port
• Connect RJ45 cable from master battery black port to first slave battery blue port
• Continue daisy-chain connection using RJ45 cables (black port to next battery's blue port) for up to 16 batteries
• Configure DIP switches according to manufacturer installation manual
• Connect grey RJ45 cable to Cerbo GX or Ekrano GX BMS CAN port
• For Cerbo Mk2: Connect grey RJ45 cable to VE.CAN1 or VE.CAN2 port and set VE.CAN port speed to 500 KBPS LV in Victron settings

Victron System Configuration Steps:

• Verify Epoch battery appears in device list on Victron GX display
• Select battery device and navigate to Details screen
• Confirm "Modules Online" count matches number of installed batteries
• Verify total Ah capacity equals 460Ah multiplied by number of batteries installed
• Enable DVCC (Distributed Voltage and Current Control) in Victron settings
• Set "Controlling BMS" parameter to Epoch
• Set "Battery Monitor" parameter to Epoch
• Verify "External Control" appears on inverter tile during charging (not during inverting)
• System will automatically cycle between 14.2V absorption voltage and 13.5V float voltage
• Recommended Backup: Manually program 14.2V absorption and 13.5V float voltages in MultiPlus, Quattro, and all other charge sources as backup parameters in case of CAN communication loss

Victron Energy Systems:

This battery is compatible with Victron Energy equipment including Cerbo GX, Ekrano GX, Cerbo Mk2, MultiPlus and Quattro inverter/chargers, and Victron charge controllers that support external BMS control via VE.CAN protocol.

Non-Victron Systems:

This battery can be used with other 12V lithium-compatible inverters, inverter/chargers, and charge controllers that support the manufacturer's recommended charge voltage parameters (14.2V absorption, 13.5V float). Verify your equipment supports lithium battery profiles before purchase.
