Why TXT ELiTE owners replace the factory Samsung battery
E-Z-GO began building the TXT ELiTE with a Samsung SDI lithium battery in 2017. Many of these carts left the factory with a single 60Ah module. As those packs age, owners commonly report shorter range, slowing or limp mode on hills when the battery is partly discharged, and charging problems. A 60Ah pack can also feel undersized for street driving, lifted carts, larger tires, or added accessories.
Until recently, replacing a factory Samsung pack with a different brand often meant extra wiring work or giving up factory functions. This kit is built specifically for that swap.
How the factory integration works
The kit is part of Eco Battery's EB FLi™ (Factory Lithium Integration) platform. The Gen3 battery management system runs E-Z-GO-specific firmware developed by Eco Battery, and the included Factory Lithium Conversion Adapter connects it to your cart. According to Eco Battery, this combination provides plug-and-play communication between the cart and the battery while keeping OEM safety systems and compatibility with the cart's existing electronics and controls.
This is a complete conversion bundle, not a loose battery. The battery, charger, charge port, and state-of-charge meter all change, while your cart keeps its factory controller and motor.

Step 1: Select your cart year (Samsung generation)
Model year is a starting point, not a guarantee. The Gen1 and Gen2 systems use different connections, so the adapter must match your cart. If you are not sure which generation you have, send us your cart's year, serial number, and a photo of the label on your current Samsung battery, and we will confirm the correct kit before you order.
Step 2: Choose your battery

Step 3: Standard or Heated
Standard batteries charge at 32°F and above. If your cart is charged in freezing temperatures, choose the Heated version, available on the 60Ah, 105Ah, and 160Ah kits. The 150Ah kit is available in the Standard version only.

Charging & Cold Weather
Each kit includes its own 15A CAN charger and charge port, so you do not need to buy a charger separately. The new CAN charger replaces the factory ELiTE charger as part of the conversion.
The battery's management system blocks charging below 32°F on the standard version to protect the cells, because charging a frozen lithium cell can permanently damage it. You can still drive in colder conditions, down to -4°F. If your cart is stored and charged in an unheated garage or outdoors through freezing weather, choose the Heated version (60Ah, 105Ah, or 160Ah).
LiFePO4 can be charged at any state of charge without harming the battery, and there is no watering or terminal corrosion to maintain. For storage, Eco Battery's Power Save mode and the included remote wake-up button let you power the battery down and wake it again when you are ready to drive.
Installation
The kit is designed to install in place of your factory Samsung pack. Installation involves removing the original battery and its charge components, mounting the Eco Battery pack with the supplied hardware, connecting the Factory Lithium Conversion Adapter, and installing the new charge port and state-of-charge meter.

Can I replace the Samsung battery in my EZGO TXT ELiTE with a different brand?

Can I keep my factory E-Z-GO charger?
No, and you do not need to. Every kit includes a 15A CAN charger and a new charge port that replace the factory ELiTE charging setup.
Which capacity should I choose?
Choose 60Ah to replace a worn pack at the original capacity for golf and short trips. Choose 105Ah for regular street and neighborhood driving. Choose 150Ah or 160Ah for long routes, hills, multiple passengers, lifted carts, larger tires, or accessories. All four use the same 48V (51.2V) Gen3 platform.
My cart goes into limp mode or struggles on hills. Will this fix it?
If the cause is an aging or undersized factory battery, a new higher-capacity pack is the usual fix. A 60Ah pack that is worn will lose voltage under load sooner. Before buying, rule out simple causes such as low tire pressure, dragging brakes, or a loose connection.
My TXT ELiTE has two Samsung battery modules. Does this kit fit?
Contact us before ordering. Some ELiTE carts were built with more than one Samsung module, and we will confirm the correct kit for your configuration.
Can I add a second Samsung module or another battery instead of replacing the pack?
This kit replaces the factory battery system entirely. Do not connect it alongside the original Samsung pack. The factory Samsung module and the Eco Battery pack use different chemistries and management systems.
Does this fit an E-Z-GO Express S4 or L6 ELiTE?

Will my headlights and 12V accessories still work?
Yes. Every kit includes a DC-DC 12V converter (40V to 90V input) to power lights and 12V accessories from the 48V battery.
Can I charge the battery in freezing temperatures?
The standard battery charges at 32°F and above, and its management system blocks charging below that to protect the cells. You can still drive down to -4°F. If you charge in freezing conditions, choose the Heated version, available on the 60Ah, 105Ah, and 160Ah kits.
Can I store my cart for months?
Yes. The Gen3 battery has a low self-discharge rate and Eco Battery's Power Save mode for storage. The included remote wake-up button lets you power the battery down and bring it back when you need the cart.
Can I monitor the battery from my phone?
Yes. The Gen3 battery has Bluetooth, so you can check state of charge and battery status in the Eco Battery app. The kit also includes a CAN LCD state-of-charge meter for the cart.
Is installation difficult?
It is a direct replacement for the factory pack, and the kit includes the adapter, charge port, meter, and mounting parts. Basic hand tools and some mechanical comfort are recommended, and most golf cart service shops can do the installation.
Will this fit my TXT if it has lead-acid batteries?
