Both bundles include a CAN-communicating 15A charger, a 12V converter for lights and accessories, a CAN LCD state-of-charge meter, an EZGO TXT-specific charge port, mounting hardware, a remote wake-up button, and an extension cord.
Both batteries use Eco Battery's in-house Gen3 Battery Management System (BMS), are available in standard or heated versions, and are backed by Eco Battery's Limited Lifetime Warranty when registered within 60 days of purchase.

How to confirm your cart is 48V: Count the batteries and read their labels. Six 8-volt batteries = 48V (compatible). Six 6-volt batteries = 36V (not compatible as a direct swap).
Not compatible without additional parts
- 36V EZGO TXT carts: a 48V lithium battery requires a full 48V conversion, including a controller, solenoid, and charger rated for 48V. Eco Battery offers a separate 38V bundle for stock 36V TXT carts.
- Carts with factory lithium (EZGO ELiTE): these are not lead-acid conversions and require a factory lithium replacement kit.
- 2020 and newer Express models with 72V lead-acid or ELiTE lithium systems.
Installation notes: The factory charge port is replaced with the included Eco Battery charge port. The small drive-off protection wire from the factory port must be connected to the battery positive terminal so the controller can operate. The 105Ah Skinny mounts in the stock tray by drilling four 1/4-inch holes and securing it with the included 5/16-inch hardware. The 160Ah mounts on the included replacement tray. If you are not comfortable with electrical work, use a professional installer.

FAQ
Will this fit my EZGO TXT or Express?
Both variants fit 48V EZGO TXT carts and 48V Express S4 / L4 carts (2012-2019) that use a lead-acid pack of six 8-volt batteries. Count your batteries to confirm: six 8-volt batteries means 48V.
Is this a 48V or 51V battery?
Both. It is a 48V-class lithium battery for 48V golf carts. 51.2V is its nominal voltage: LiFePO4 cells run at 3.2V each, and 16 cells in series equal 51.2V. That is why 48V lithium golf cart batteries are often labeled 51V. It replaces a 48V lead-acid pack of six 8-volt batteries.
Should I choose the 105Ah or the 160Ah?
The 105Ah Skinny (5.3 kWh, 113 lb) suits most stock and lightly modified carts and installs in the stock tray. The 160Ah (8.1 kWh, 165 lb) stores about 50% more energy and is the better choice for maximum range or carts with lift kits, oversized tires, rear seats, extensive lighting, or upgraded stereos.
Can I use this in a 36V TXT?
Not as a direct swap. A 36V cart (six 6-volt batteries) needs a full 48V conversion, including a 48V-rated controller and solenoid. Eco Battery offers a separate 38V bundle for stock 36V TXT carts.
Why won't my cart move after installing the battery?
The most common cause is the drive-off protection wire from the factory charge port. It is the smallest of the three wires on the port and needs constant power for the controller to function. Eco Battery's install guide connects it to the battery positive terminal with a 5/16-inch ring terminal.
Can I keep using my lead-acid charger?
No. Eco Battery batteries are designed to work with Eco Battery chargers. Third-party chargers or battery tenders may cause damage and will void the warranty. The correct 15A CAN charger is included with both variants.
How long does it take to charge?
Using Eco Battery's formula (capacity divided by charger amps) with the included 15A charger: the 105Ah takes about 7 hours from empty and 3.5 hours from 50%; the 160Ah takes about 10.5 hours from empty and 5.3 hours from 50%.
How far can I drive on a charge?
Eco Battery estimates about 54 holes of golf plus the drive to and from the course for a 105Ah battery. The 160Ah stores about 50% more energy for longer range. Actual range depends on terrain, load, tires, and driving style.
Will my headlights and accessories still work?
Yes. The included DC-DC 12V converter powers 12V lights and accessories from the lithium battery.
Do I need to replace my battery cables?
Replace any cables that show age or corrosion. Eco Battery highly recommends larger cables if your cart has bigger tires, extra seats, a higher-amp controller, a larger motor, or anything else that increases amp draw.
Can I charge in cold weather?
The standard model will not accept a charge when its internal temperature is below 32°F. This protects the cells. The heated model warms itself automatically below 32°F before charging resumes.
Should I leave the charger plugged in?
It is fine to leave it plugged in if you will use the cart soon, which gives the BMS time to balance the cells. If you won't use the cart for a few days, disconnect the charger.
How do I store the cart for the off-season?
Charge the battery above 50%, unplug the charger, and turn the battery off. Charge at least once every six months, store above -4°F, and fully charge before use to recalibrate the state of charge reading.
Can I pressure wash the battery?
No. High-pressure washing can damage the battery and is not covered under warranty. Clean it with a damp rag only, and never use chemicals.
Can I wire batteries in parallel or series?
Eco Battery batteries can be wired in parallel using Eco Battery's parallel wiring diagram. They should not be wired in series. Confirm your cart can support a parallel setup before purchasing.
What is the warranty?
Gen3 batteries carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty. The battery must be registered within 60 days of purchase with proof of purchase; otherwise coverage defaults to 1 year. The charger has a 2-year warranty and accessories have a 1-year warranty. Warranties are non-transferable.
How is the battery shipped?
Both batteries exceed parcel weight limits and ship by LTL freight.
