You choose two things: your generation (which sets the adapter for your cart's year) and your battery. Capacity options run from 105Ah for dependable everyday range up to 160Ah for the most miles per charge, and the 105Ah comes in two shapes (Skinny or Thru-Hole) to match your preference. The factory RXV pack is only about 60Ah, so even the smallest option here is a real step up in capacity and range, not just a replacement for what wore out. This page is for RXV carts that already have factory lithium. If your RXV runs lead-acid batteries, this is not the correct kit for your cart.

Compared to the Factory Battery

The Samsung lithium pack that came in your RXV from the factory is about 60Ah. It served the cart well, but these Eco Battery kits are an upgrade rather than a like-for-like swap. Even the entry 105Ah option carries roughly 75% more capacity than the factory pack, the 150Ah about 2.5 times, and the 160Ah close to 2.7 times. More capacity means more range and more reserve for hills, heavier loads, and accessories.

The swap still keeps your cart's factory dash and functions through the included adapter, so you gain the extra capacity and the Limited Lifetime warranty without losing the factory integration you already have.

Which Kit Fits My Cart

Pick your kit in two steps: first your generation (set by your cart's year), then your battery (set by the range you want and your cart's tray).

• 105Ah Skinny — everyday range in a longer, narrower shape that many owners prefer for its look.
• 105Ah Thru-Hole — the same range in a more compact shape that frees up a little extra space beside the battery.
• 150Ah — more capacity for longer routes, hills, larger tires, or accessory loads.
• 160Ah — the most range in this lineup, for the heaviest use.

Skinny or Thru-Hole? On the factory-lithium RXV, both 105Ah options fit either generation, so this comes down to preference. They deliver the same range and power. Choose the Skinny if you like its look, or the Thru-Hole if you want a more compact battery with a little extra room to the side. The only thing that sets your fitment is the year, which determines whether you need the Gen1 or Gen2 kit.

Important: This page fits the E-Z-GO RXV with factory Samsung lithium only. If your RXV runs lead-acid batteries, it needs a separate lead-acid-to-lithium conversion kit, which is not sold on this page.

Specifications

All batteries use the same Gen3 LiFePO4 chemistry, BMS protection, Bluetooth monitoring, and Limited Lifetime warranty. They differ mainly in capacity, size, weight, and mounting. Estimated range figures are approximate and scale with capacity; actual range depends on terrain, load, tire size, accessories, and driving style.

Charging & Cold Weather

These kits use the included CAN charger, so no separate charger purchase is needed. Lithium recharges faster than lead-acid, and you can top it off at any charge level without harming the battery.

The standard batteries charge in temperatures from 32°F to 130°F. Below 32°F, the built-in freeze protection stops charging to protect the cells, because charging a frozen lithium cell can permanently damage it. You can still drive and discharge in colder conditions, down to -4°F on most models and down to -20°F on the 105Ah Thru-Hole.

If you regularly need to charge in freezing temperatures, a self-heating version of the Eco Battery is available on select capacities. It warms itself when charging begins in the cold so it can safely accept a charge, then charges normally once it reaches temperature. If you want the heated option, contact us before ordering and we will confirm availability for your selected model.

Installation

Each kit is designed as a direct replacement for your factory Samsung pack. The included adapter, charge port, mounting hardware, and (on Gen2 kits) the replacement tray are matched to the cart, so the battery integrates with your existing electronics and charging system.

Installation involves removing the original factory lithium pack and installing the Eco Battery pack with the supplied components. Basic hand tools and some mechanical comfort are recommended. If you would prefer professional installation, most local golf cart service shops can complete the swap. Support is available if you have questions during the process.
