Epoch 24V 230Ah V2 Elite Series LiFePO4 Battery
The Epoch V2 Elite Series is designed for marine, RV, solar, and off-grid applications. This 24V 230Ah lithium battery features LiFePO4 chemistry with integrated heating, Bluetooth connectivity, and Victron communication capability for energy storage systems.

This 24V LiFePO4 battery offers advantages over traditional lead-acid batteries. With over 3,500 charge cycles compared to 300-500 cycles for lead-acid, it provides longer service life. The 97 lbs design replaces multiple heavy lead-acid batteries, and its maintenance-free operation eliminates the need for water additions and equalization charges.
The lithium iron phosphate chemistry provides consistent power output throughout the discharge cycle, unlike lead-acid batteries that experience voltage drop under load.
Installation & Setup
The Epoch V2 Elite is designed for installation in Group 8D battery compartments. The compact design optimizes space while the PC + ABS case material provides durability in marine and RV environments.
Non-Victron System Settings:
- Absorption voltage: 28.4V with minimum 15 minutes per battery
- Float voltage: 27.0V
- Equalization: OFF
- Temperature compensation: None required
Victron System Integration Setup:
- Connect waterproof bung to master blue port
- Run RJ45 cable from master black port to slave1 blue port
- Continue daisy chain pattern for up to 16 batteries in parallel
- Set DIP switches according to manual specifications
- Connect grey RJ45 plug to Cerbo/Ekrano GX BMS CAN port
- For Cerbo Mk2: Use VE-CAN1 or VE-CAN2, set speed to 500 KBPS LV
Victron System Configuration:
- Verify Epoch battery appears in GX device list
- Check module count matches installed batteries
- Confirm total Ah matches system capacity
- Enable DVCC on GX device
- Set controlling BMS to Epoch
- Set battery monitor to Epoch
- System displays "External Control" during charging
Backup Configuration: Manually program Multiplus, Quattro, and other charge sources with the same parameters (28.4V absorption, 27.0V float) in case of CAN communication loss.
Compatibility: Works with major inverter brands including Victron, Magnum, Aims, and others. This 24V lithium battery with BMS meets safety standards, including UL1642, UL1973, IEC 62619:2017, and RoHS compliance.
