Eco Battery GEN3 51.2V 105Ah Skinny Lithium Bundle is a complete lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) conversion kit designed for specific EZGO and Club Car Carryall configurations: the EZGO TXT (48V, 2014 and newer), Express, the EZGO RXV with a factory metal battery tray, and the Club Car Carryall (2015 and newer). The skinny form factor is the correct fit for the longer, narrower tray layout found in all of these carts, replacing your full set of lead-acid batteries with a single, intelligent lithium unit.

The EZGO TXT, RXV metal tray, and Club Car Carryall all share a longer, narrower battery tray layout that the Eco Battery skinny design addresses directly. The TXT specifically includes a center frame spine that can make standard flat-battery installs awkward the skinny form factor and included model-specific mounting hardware resolve this without cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications.

This bundle replaces your entire bank of lead-acid batteries with a single 113 lb lithium unit. A standard six-battery lead-acid setup weighs over 300 lbs. That weight reduction translates directly to better acceleration, improved hill performance, and a cart that handles noticeably differently from the first drive.

Consistent power from full charge to empty. Lead-acid batteries deliver decreasing voltage as they discharge you feel it as sluggishness on hills and reduced speed in the final third of a charge. LiFePO4 chemistry holds voltage flat across the discharge curve. The same power at 90% charge and at 20% charge.

The GEN3 BMS monitors every cell in real time, handles balancing automatically, and communicates via Bluetooth and CAN protocol with the included charger and LCD gauge. Firmware is updated over-the-air through the Eco Battery mobile app no manual intervention required.

The bundle includes every component for a complete installation. The EZGO bundle includes: battery, CAN charger, 12V DC converter, LCD state-of-charge meter, model-specific locking charge port, mounting hardware, and a remote wake-up button. The Club Car Carryall bundle swaps in a Carryall-specific mounting bracket (A-8415) and charger pigtail (A-4008) in place of the EZGO charge port. The 12V converter is included for all configurations and is necessary it powers your cart's 12V accessories (lights, horn, USB ports, turn signals) from the lithium pack.

CAN communication, why it matters. Eco Battery uses advanced CAN (Controller Area Network) communication to connect the charger and the cart's components directly with the BMS. This means the charger and battery exchange real-time data during every charge cycle not just voltage and current, but cell-level information that allows the system to charge more accurately, protect cells more precisely, and extend the service life of both the battery and the charger. This bundle fits four configurations that share the same longer, narrower battery tray layout: the EZGO TXT (48V, 2014 and newer) also sold as the Freedom TXT and T48 the EZGO Express, the EZGO RXV with a factory metal battery tray, and the Club Car Carryall (2015 and newer). All use the skinny form factor. The key differences between configurations are the charge port and mounting bracket details below.

EZGO TXT confirming your voltage:

• 48V TXT models (2014 and newer) typically use six 8-volt batteries in a long row configuration. This bundle fits.
• 36V TXT models (pre-2014) typically use six 6-volt batteries. These require a different Eco Battery bundle contact us before ordering.
• Your cart's voltage is also printed on the original charger or on a label inside the battery compartment.

EZGO RXV confirming your tray type:

• RXV models with a metal (steel) battery tray and six 8-volt batteries use this Skinny bundle.
• RXV models with a plastic battery tray and four 12-volt batteries require the Thru-Hole bundle instead.
• The metal tray is gray steel. The plastic tray is cream or tan colored. If unsure, contact us with your serial number.

Club Car Carryall confirming your model year:

• This bundle fits Club Car Carryall models 2015 and newer. The Carryall uses a longer, narrower tray that accepts the skinny battery directly.
• The Carryall bundle uses a Carryall-specific mounting bracket (A-8415) and a charger pigtail (A-4008) in place of the EZGO locking charge port.
• The stock Club Car Carryall controller is compatible with the 51.2V nominal voltage of this battery no reprogramming required.
• If your Carryall has 12V accessories (lights, horn, turn signals), the included 12V DC converter (A-1272) is required and is included in the bundle.
• If you are unsure of your Carryall's model year or configuration, contact us with your cart's serial number before ordering.

The TXT center spine what to know:

The EZGO TXT battery tray includes a center structural spine that runs along the tray's length. This spine can interfere with batteries that are designed to sit flat. The Eco Battery skinny form factor and included mounting hardware (A-8003) are specifically configured to work with this tray design, allowing the battery to sit securely alongside the spine without requiring cutting or drilling.

Controller compatibility:

The 48V EZGO TXT and Club Car Carryall both use DC motor controllers. The 51.2V nominal voltage of this lithium battery operates within the acceptable working range of the stock controllers in all compatible carts. No reprogramming is required for standard stock configurations.

12V accessories:

The included DC-DC 12V converter (A-1272) is required if your cart has any 12V accessories lights, horn, USB ports, turn signals. This applies to both EZGO and Club Car Carryall configurations. If you disconnect the old lead-acid setup without installing the converter, 12V accessories will not function.

This bundle does not fit:

• EZGO TXT 36V models (pre-2014) different bundle required
• EZGO RXV with a factory plastic battery tray that configuration requires the Eco Battery Thru-Hole bundle
• EZGO Express S4, S6, L6 separate bundles available

Installation

The Eco Battery skinny bundle is designed for a straightforward installation across all compatible carts. The skinny form factor clears the EZGO TXT's center frame spine, and model-specific hardware provides everything needed to secure the battery cleanly in each tray. Most owners report completing this installation in 1 to 2 hours.

General installation overview (for reference always follow the official Eco Battery installation guide included with your kit):

• Turn the key to OFF and place the cart in TOW mode before beginning any work.
• Disconnect and remove your existing lead-acid batteries. Remove the main negative cable first.
• Clean any corrosion or debris from the battery tray area.
• Position the correct mounting hardware in the tray A-8003 bolt hardware for EZGO configurations; A-8415 Carryall mounting bracket for Club Car Carryall.
• Lower the skinny GEN3 battery into the tray. At 113 lbs, a second person is recommended for safe handling.
• Secure the battery using the included hardware. The skinny form factor sits alongside the TXT center spine rather than over it.
• Connect the battery terminals per the included wiring diagram. Observe correct polarity.
• Install the correct charge connection: model-specific locking charge port (A-4022 for EZGO TXT; A-4032 for EZGO RXV) or charger pigtail A-4008 for Club Car Carryall. Do not use your old lead-acid charger use only the included CAN charger.
• Install the 12V DC converter (A-1272) and connect it to power your cart's 12V accessories (lights, horn, turn signals, USB ports).
• Mount the LCD state-of-charge meter (A-3102) in a visible dashboard location.
• Mount the remote wake-up button (A-4220) in an accessible location.
• Power on the battery using the remote button or by connecting the charger.
• Download the Eco Battery app and install the latest over-the-air firmware update before first use.

Tools commonly required include a 9/16" wrench, standard socket set, and screwdrivers. Refer to the included documentation for the complete tool list and wiring diagram.
